Shoulder Pain

Whether you've been doing more yard and lawn work with the warmer weather, golfing, fly fishing, weight lifting, sitting at your desk for too long, or the unfortunate recipient of an auto accident, shoulder pain can really impact your life. Everyday tasks such as picking up your kids, taking on and off shirts, reaching overhead or even brushing your teeth can feel impossible.

The shoulder joint, aka the glenohumeral joint, is the most mobile joint in the human body, however it is the most unstable joint and relies on a network of tendons, muscles and ligaments to make sure it is working most efficiently. Our shoulders are not only involved in everyday tasks and movement patterns but they also play a large role in posture. The old adage 'if you slouch, you'll ouch' holds true in today's world where computers, tablets, and phones are used daily.
